This card was created in beautiful Kennebunk Maine. I had the great opportunity to attend Selene Kempton’s retreat in June and it was WOW, the best time ever. We had the chance to engage in a swap with summer as the theme and being near the ocean with my favorite bundle in the new annual catalog the Let’s Set Sail bundle was my pick.  I used old navy as the base, stamped the sail in real red and basic gray, the sky and water stamped off in pool party and finally then sentiment stamped in basic gray. This would be a great graduate or retirement card.

I Hope your taking time for yourself today.

I had fun playing around with the He’s The Man Designer Series Paper that comes with a 2 sheets of awesome labels and die cut images already to go. These cards were easy to design and put together. Some of the cards are gift card holders that I gave to my stepson and step-son-in-laws.

I had the wonderful opportunity to go to retreat in Kennebunk, Maine and at retreat we played bingo along with He’s The Man suite. It was beyond so much fun!

A very special occasion called for a very special card! My aunts 90th birthday and she is looking fabulous! I was inspired by all the Pop Up cards and explosion cards showing up everywhere so I wanted to make her this Pop-Up card in a box! She loves birds so I had to add some to it. I am using up what I have so I encourage you to use your paper stash. My aunt loved it so much she put in a custom order.

I used Basic Black cardstock for the base, layered some of my favorite Misty moonlight cardstock (I am sad it’s retiring) and the top layer is the beautiful hand penned designer series paper which is retired. I will be offering a class to share how to create this plus another class showing how to create the card gift box and gift tags I made for her. It’s a nice gift for someone who likes sending cards.

My Aunt Joanne has saved every single card handmade for her over the last 17 years, that’s a lot of cards and a lot of love 💕💝

I’m excited to be sharing this card class on zoom! Details to follow.

Creating magic is so fun with the 2022–2024 In Colors and the Celebrating In Color Paper Pumpkin Kit!
With vivid pops of green and red, and a range of blues, these colors are perfect for fun festivities.

The Parakeet party card I offset the strips, adhered them with Tombow glue and embossed them with the brick embossing folder. I stamped You Make Me on the tag with soft suede and used my blending brush with parakeet party over the tag. I used the parakeet party blends markers to color in the happy going from top to bottom with the dark to the light leaving the white toward the bottom making an Ombre’ effect. I added the coordinating matte dots and metallic ribbon.

The Starry Sky card looked like water to me so I added the Let’s Set Sail boat punched with In-Color DSP.
I added the water background stamp inside and the Whale and the birds stamped in Starry Sky. Then punched out the whale with the Whale punch. I scored the center of the front of the card and glued the Starry Sky cardstock to half of the front creating the fun fold.

I love Tahitian tide. My birthstone is turquoise. For this card I cut the banner down and embossed with the splatter embossing folder. I added the matching metallic and twine then adhered with Dimensionals. Using the blending brush to create the Ombre’ effect on the Happy and attached with Dimensionals. I stamped to have you in my life with Vera’s ark and embossed in gold.  Also, added the matte dots.

The Sweet Sorbet card top layer was embossed with the stripes embossing folder and adhered with Tombow glue. I stamped Can do anything with Sweet Sorbet and added the matte dots to match.

The Orchid Oasis is another fun fold where I scored the front of the card then embossed the top layer with my favorite the painted texture embossing folder. I cut it in half and glued it to the right inside and the left of the fold. Stamped Just For on the circle with Orchid Oasis and stamped happy to celebrate your day inside.

This is the one I created only using the stamps from the kit. I stamped the Happy and splatter stamps in each In-Color on to Basic White, die cut it with Rectangle stitched dies, added 2 metallic ribbons in Parakeet Party and Starry Sky. Attached the top layer to Parakeet party cardstock with Dimensionals.

I really love fun folds and cards that stand up on display. I hope this inspires you to subscribe to paper pumpkin and to create fun alternates with your kits.
